about

nostalgic storyteller & friend

Long ago, I fell in love with the ability to create tangible mementos of the places I’d been and the things I’d seen. My earliest photographs became more than reminders — they were pieces of me, small tokens that could still spark wonder and joy.

That same impulse guides me today. My approach to photography is about carefully and artfully preserving moments that might otherwise be lost. I pay close attention to light, surroundings, movement, and mood, weaving them together to create images that feel true. With a background in the performing arts, I’ve developed a sensibility for timing, noticing the subtle shifts that bring a moment to life.

The work blends documentary instinct with a fine-art sensibility, creating photographs that feel honest and enduring.

It’s always an honor to get to create for others. If my approach resonates with you, I’d love to hear your story.

Home & Family

Originally from Minnesota, I’ve lived in both Northern and Southern California, and now call Oregon home, splitting my time between the rugged coast I love and Chicago. My husband often travels with me (and sometimes even takes photos). I can’t wait to have a dog someday!

Analog & Youtube

My journey with film is ongoing, and it’s often my first choice for documenting my own life and travels. Shooting analog keeps me grounded in the slower, more intentional side of photography. On my YouTube channel, I share pieces of my wedding work along with plenty of real talk—film experiments, travel diaries, gear rabbit holes, and the struggles (and joys) that come with keeping this medium alive
