Spring Wedding at the 1909 in Topanga Canyon

I remember my first conversation with Maggie on the phone earlier this year. She was as sincere and genuine as they come. I remember how she spoke of her fiance, this low-key, festive celebration and her love for her two boys.

Walking into the bridal suite she greeted me with a big ‘It’s, Teri B!’. Like being acquainted with an old friend.

Maggie and George gathered friends and family from all corners of the world to celebrate in the canyon at the 1909 [on my list of LA venues that actually feel nothing like LA]. Everything was decorated in a beautiful array of pink peonies and bright florals. I love how they included the boys in the ceremony, Quincy, the youngest, walked Maggie down the aisle and Sidney waited for her with George.

Following the ceremony, dinner was down in the garden terrace adorned with more of the bright flowers on wood farm tables and a darling array of vintage plates.

The dance floor was on fire for this one.

My favorite moment was just before we headed up to the dancing, Maggie and George stopped on the deck for a warm up waltz under the moonlight and lanterns of the oak trees.

Lots of love to you guys!
