Priscilla was on a work trip in Europe and extended her time for a weekend-long engagement session. I was so happy she reached out to have me document it. We began in Provence, where we stumbled into the most unexpected field of sunflowers, and then continued in Paris with an evening session at Pont Alexandre III.
Priscilla instantly felt like a long-lost friend, and spending time with them was genuinely special.
To cap off our time together, we ended with a sunrise session at the famous Trocadéro, overlooking the Eiffel Tower. The couple wore their wedding outfits and met me at the terrace just as the sun was starting to rise. The name “Trocadéro” traces back to the 1823 Battle of Trocadéro, and the area has long been tied to Paris’s big public moments.
The original Palais du Trocadéro was built for the 1878 World’s Fair, later dismantled ahead of 1937, when the Palais de Chaillot and the gardens we know today took shape.
In the morning, it’s my favorite version of this spot. Quiet, spacious, almost tender. I love watching other couples and photographers creating alongside each other as the city wakes up. We took our time, made something beautiful, and it ended with a tearful goodbye because this trip brought us genuinely close.
Hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.
