‘I have found the one whom my soul loves’ -Song of Solomon 3:4
This verse was painted on wooden panel at the head of Chloe and Jeff’s alter for their destination wedding at the Celebration Hall in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
Beach weddings are kinda where it’s at, in case you haven’t heard. These two reside in Texas but gathered their friends and family from all over to head to the sandy white beaches on the Gulf Coast.
Getting ready was at a darling multi-leveled beach house with an amazing first look with the bride and her fourteen bridesmaids. Somehow they all obliged to getting on the swing on the upstairs porch. We did a series of little sessions down at the beach during the afternoon before the ceremony and later for sunset with the entire bridal party.
One of my favorite getting ready groom moments is featured in this collection. I passed by Jeff and his officiant and Jeff was talking anxiously, mentioning how he knew he was going to marry Chloe the first time he met her and that they had waited for this day for a long time. I snapped a silhouette of the two before they headed out for the ceremony.
Chloe and Jeff toasted from a bottle of champagne they got in France just after they were officially engaged. Pretty darn cool. Everything about the day felt elegant + beautiful. We had a magical time during portraits, hooray for veils that blow in the wind. So much to love about this day. I am so grateful I got to capture this one! Check some of my favorites:
