i remember so specifically living next to a cotton field during the fall of one of my childhoods in west texas. it shot up during the winter months and i would love to watch the little patches of white pop up and bloom. we would drive by and often walk around the crops watching this beautiful progression.
the crops were eventually cleared to make way for a local college basketball stadium and i never really got to see cotton that close again.
as we were driving to my sisters house in allen the most beautiful field appeared ahead of us.
true, this crop got terribly rained out and is actually ruined from what my sister tells me.
its still so pretty and, naturally, i had to go take photos at sunset with my dog, indy.
dancing around surrounded by little white puffs of clouds.
