Mackenzie and Alex met on the first day of college at Santa Clara University. They became friends, fell in love and went back to get married at the same spot at the Mission on campus in Santa Clara.
This day was sunny and bright, with their favorites all around. The gals got ready + had a poolside moment, the guys got ready sporting off their socks. Mackenzie and Alex did a first look and then read their vows to one another under a breezeway on campus. With the help of the bridal party and a few rainbows, we created some art along the gardens and in front of the church. A memorable moment was taking the bride out for a few dress spins before the ceremony. The reception followed later at Alex’s parents backyard so their furry son Wallace, the cutest Portuguese water pup you have ever seen could join in on the fun. As you may recall he also joined for their engagement session in muir woods + at sutro baths.
Fuzzy shoes, a dog in a bowtie, florals in the best pastel colors, twirls in the last bits of sunlight, olive tree leaves from the grounds decorating tables in vintage greys and blues, dancing on a checkered floor and a balloon confetti send-off.
