for the books. for the ages.
all in a small northern california city called chico.
brandon and hannah are that adventure couple that most aspire to be part of. their relationship is one filled with great experiences, great travels, great understanding, great passion and some songs + dances scattered in, naturally. remember their engagement session in the headlands?
as i’m writing, the couple is still out traveling for their honeymoon. seven weeks abroad, two continents, a number of new countries + countless memories.
stepping backwards a bit to their wedding day in the couples hometown. the ceremony took place in the backyard of the brides home which was its own sort of eclectic art museum, flower conservatory + secluded paradise all in one. the backyard is an hommage of sorts to hannah’s wonderfully talented artist parents. the alter was actually made by her late father, james, along with other mixed metal + wood pieces on the grounds. they have a mini bamboo grove, a rose garden, water fountain + a plethora of trees + flowers + plants all around.
this was the perfect place for this day.
highlights included a first look to the bridal party + an emotional husband to be [:)], bridal party photos in vibrant downtown chico, a singing down the alter recessional, forest portraits, a surprise hamilton song and dance complete with a rapping groom + a sparkler send-off to close the night + begin this beautiful next chapter.
notable: these two are my friends. i have known the groom eight years + i cried most of this day from being so happy for them.
okay, finally here are photos….
