michael + linnea have spent the past decade [+ then some] growing up, graduating through three schools, landing jobs in the same school + falling in love every step of the way.
the two monterey locals wed in their own stomping ground at the historic monterey whaling station. historic venues are often the perfect contrast to the elegance of a wedding, this day was no exception. the house, which was built in 1864 by a scottish bloke for his wife + daughter, features a unique sidewalk comprised entirely of whale vertebrae among other antique pieces from the years of whaling off the coast.
they had a beautiful first look in the trees, a sunny ceremony in front of their dear friends + family, portraits around some of their favorite spots in the wharf, a sprawling bar featuring some of their homemade brews + dancing into the evening to the sounds of a live band at this historical northern california gem.
