brandon + hannah: cloudy, misty, ominous morning with love + all the feels engagement session at muir beach

brandon + hannah have the travel bug + hearts full of wanderlust. the force is strong in these two. they wanted their engagement photos to evoke this certain sense of adventure. we opted for muir woods + beach just north of san francisco to tell their love story.

morning sessions are always my favorite + this shoot exemplifies the reason why i push for early morning wake ups. we drove + shot all around the marin headlands. its difficult to articulate how much fun this shoot was, we leapt + skipped + climbed in trees, paraded in the woods, chased waves + danced the entire misty morning.

their antics made me laugh.

their love touched my soul.

I Do’s + Dueling Dinosaurs: Los Angeles Museum Wedding
This couple wanted to do things very differently. They opted to wed under the two dueling dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles. I admired how even though Dinosaurs could very easily been seen as a cheesy theme, they pulled this off into being a very elegant and gorgeous wedding. Most of the Brides jewelry were vintage pieces from her grandmother. I had a fun time making them into a T-Rex. Maybe too many sweets that morning? We had such fun feeding off of their fun and whimsical personalities throughout the beautiful day. Dancing the night away with animals of every kind having out too- this was a fun one.   ...
