beth + keith: canyons, waterfalls + a romantic destination elopement at taft point in yosemite, california

Weddings & Engagement
July 26, 2017
these two are adventure seekers through and through.
beth wanted to do a true elopement out in nature, a place where they always enjoy spending their time together. they had known for some time that yosemite is a magical place so it was really a no-brainer in having it as the spot to have their wedding ceremony.
we all met at the lodge for some lobby portraits they signed the marriage license on the hood of their truck, that was adorned with bikes and kayaks.
i was pleased to be a witness and happy to sign the dotted line for these two before we all loaded in and headed to taft point.
the ceremony spot was a mile hike through the woods. lead by the fearless bride and groom. they got married above the valley overlooking waterfalls + meadows under blue skies.
we took our time hiking back and stopped for photos along the way. ended the day overlooking half dome.
destination wedding ftw.

nick + rachel: an enchanting day of their own making at the barlow, sebastopol, ca
Some people are visionaries by nature. This is certainly true of ultra aesthetic bride Rachel + her kind spirited groom, Nick, who planned their eclectic + stylish day at The Barlow in Sebastopol. This is the third wedding I've shot at the Barlow (Jade + Andy, Lillia + Robert) and this bride really took off with her vision as far as creating a space where dear ones felt welcomed in and also could feel surrounded by her bold artistic influence. The tables where adorned in geometric shapes, succulent variations + potted plants. I loved the subtle details of silverware in different shades + the tables numbers marked on tile pieces. She als ...
