Adam and Sam fell in love on a summer nite so having a Summer Wedding outdoors, in the woods with all their dearest loved ones, just made sense.
Their Wedding was at the 1909 in Topanga Canyon in day that had a relaxed and elegant vibe all around.
The 1909 is a uniquely layered property with an onsite bridal suite, a garden terrace for dinner and an upstairs room for dancing.
Bridesmaids were dressed in shades of pastel pinks accompanied by bouquets in green, white, pinks + just the right pop of maroon. Adam and the guys were in dark tuxes with red ties.
The two opted for a first look to save some time in the day, followed by family shots + the signing of the handmade ketubah. This was in the prime of summer in July and the sun shined through the trees during the outdoor ceremony as guests watched the two exchange vows in the nature retreat. Cocktails, dinner + speeches commenced in the bottom lawn on long tables decorated in lush greens illuminated by market lights from above.
We did some portraits together at the ceremony space and in the woods before everyone headed upstairs to dance the night away.
Sam + Adam were easy to shoot and this day was a dream to capture. Here of some of my favorites:
