Film Diaries: Left Bank Styled Shoot
I did this shoot with some amazing and crazy talented businesses in the Los Angeles area. The theme was a Parisian Left Bank shoot with a strong organic, gypsy feel. The grainy, rich color of the film soothes the soul- well, my soul at any rate! Sunset made a better setting for the mood. These are just a few little pieces and details. Concert Vibes: Valley Shine at The Satellite in SilverLake 3/4/16
I love shooting a little Indie Folk Band by the name of Valley Shine. They returned to the stage last night for a show at The Satellite, a music staple to the Silverlake area. The lighting was perfect in many ways, shifting slightly as the set did. These were shot on Leica M240 (first time with concerts!) and Canon 5dMarkiii. Reba gets a Bath: Horse Photography in Highland Village, Texas
During the Thanksgiving break I visited my family in Dallas. We did a little of this, a little of that; ate some good food. Giving thanks stuff. On one of our empty afternoons we visited Reba in the stables for a bath! Reba is my sisters lovely horse that I shot earlier in the year. It was fun watching the process as I never get to be around horses. A lot of brushing. A lot of water. A lot of soapy suds. A clean horse in the end!
