2016: things i saw + stories i told

Weddings & Engagement
March 3, 2017

This year took me + my work to new heights.

Stories led me to fields of horses in Iceland, downtown and in parks by a golden gate bridge, bands playing on stages in hollywood and in studio recording, to forests in wine country, to national parks all over California, back to the Big Apple in Spring, to canyons in Malibu, to beachside oasis settings, to hillsides with clouds to nowhere, to a handful of flower fields in two countries, around famous monuments in the city of light, ranches in Texas, churches all over and love in every look, smile + embrace.

2016 was filled with magic.

The Square + The Pier: A San Francisco Session
The first in-person date these two had was on the lawn of Ghirardelli Square off of the famous Embarcadero in the city by the bay. Chocolate and the bay view made for not only an ideal meeting spot but an ideal match. This lovely couple wanted to relive their first date by shooting in the same location for their engagement- they even wore the same outfits! We made our way over to the trolley and eventually the pier to finish off their gorgeous shoot. Having these two together was all that was required for this shoot. They are perfectly perfect together and I was so happy to snap a few memories for them.
