This is the ultimate ‘Screw it! Let’s elope to Paris’ story — I love every little bit of it.
After the decision to ditch wedding plans in Vancouver, this couple packed their bags and ventured to the city of love. Their last visit was a proposal in the gardens right by the Eiffel Tower, this visit was to make it official and tie the knot.
Getting ready took place at the Hotel LA Belle Juliette as did a celebration toast. The ceremony spot was overlooking the palace and blooming gardens at Luxembourg in the 6th. Officiating was by The Paris Officiant, flowers came from a shop down the street, the dress was carried on the plane, jewelry was made up of family heirlooms, the groom rented locally and the brides parents were in attendance to watch along with other picnickers, day-dreamers, readers + tourists.
The bride and groom strolled the gardens a bit afterwards before heading over to the Eiffel Tower where this sweet story began. The couple wandered through the Trocadero as the day came to an end. They met a puppy, checked out the merry-go-round and blissfully enjoyed being together [+ happily married] in Paris.
