kerry + chris: glamping outdoor wedding in enchanting big sur, california

Weddings & Engagement

Glamping is a thing. This wedding is the epitome of it.

Kerry + Chris are outdoorsy, woodsy people by nature who very much enjoy spending time in nature – sometimes even with their kitty Lexie (very true, I’ve seen photos). Chris is a surfer guy and Kerry is an enthusiastic bubbly personality on a very popular tech gadget website/blog Engadget.

Their wedding was charming in all ways imaginable. Big Sur, in all its majestic wonder, was a beautiful setting complete with redwoods, streams + cliff sides galore. The two married in front of friends and family by the water at the Phieffer State Park. Reception followed at the picnic grounds and included speeches, dinner + dancing. For portraits, the newlyweds headed out to the cliffs for the most stunning sunset to cap off the perfect day out in the woods.

Obsessed with this one, here’s why…

nina + ryan: victoria beach anniversary session in newport, california
Surrounded by the salty sea + the newport breezes, these two vacationed down to Orange County to celebrate their ten year anniversary. Sunset was the perfect time to catch the golden rays. Spolier alert: Nina is my cousin and I recall meeting Ryan for the first time over chips and salsa back in Indiana where they live. Once I get past the idea of how old I'm getting, I can't believe I got to see the very beginning of this romance. Do you remember ten years ago? Now imagine it shared with someone else. And you still love and adore that person. Worth Celebrating- no diggity, no doubt. I shoot anniversari ...
