Oceanside by Your Side: Capitola Engagement Session

Weddings & Engagement
September 28, 2015

Shooting in brand new places is always a thrill. This couple wanted to do their engagement session in Capitola by the ocean and enjoy the spring weather. So in.

This location was great because it had some pretty distinctively different locations. We found a train tussle, the pier and the gorgeous beach with the famous colorful condos on the edge.

Jasmín was just infectious and they were both so much fun to shoot.

Eric proposed to Katie on the steps of the Capitol during the holidays. The two met on a popular app that goes by the name of Tinder. Chris is a surfer guy and Kerry is an enthusiastic bubbly personality on a very popular tech gadget website/blog Engadget. Their wedding was charming in all ways imaginable. Big Sur, in all its majestic wonder, was a beautiful setting complete with redwoods, streams + cliff sides galore. The two married in front of friends and family by the water at the Phieffer State Park. Reception followed at the picnic grounds an ...

sean + virdi: los angeles arts district engagement + music shoot
Having talented couples is so exciting! I shot this couples lovely wedding up in the canyon hills at Tree People  where they were drenched in love, sunshine and nature. They came back to me asking to do a shoot for their upcoming music duo project 'Blue Hearts' and I couldn't think of a better place the the urban, hipster Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. One of my favorite 'oldie but goodie' movies is Once so I played with the main movie poster since we had the street open in the morning. We were able to utilize the awesome graffiti, signs + urban vibes in the area. It's notable that we all enjoyed vegan pancakes afterwards ...
